Course Description: This course provides a hands-on basic-to-intermediate level interpreting skill training in English into Japanese and Japanese into English language combinations. The course teaches skills in consecutive interpreting as well as semi-simultaneous interpreting, starting from such basic sub-skill training as shadowing, listening comprehension, and note-taking.
