Course Description: In this course, students study aquaculture facilities construction, installation, and maintenance; and environmental considerations, which are key to the success of the industry. Students visit various aquaculture facilities and interact with entrepreneurs to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of their facilities and how to curb identified challenges. Students are introduced to the global status and importance of aquaculture, design, construction, and maintenance of aquaculture facilities.
