Course Description: This intensive Spanish course provides instruction at the beginning intermediate level. Communicative and grammatical elements covered include: past tense verbs (indefinite, perfect, and imperfect), discussing beginnings and duration of actions, the imperative and quantifiers; indirect discourse, present indicative; expressing cause and effect, past pluperfect, present subjunctive; expressing interests and emotions; passive voice, simple conditional, providing advice and suggestions. The cultural content of the course is incorporated into the linguistic and grammatical components through texts, films, games and songs.
