Course Description: This course explores three different current international security issues to give students depth in global security problems. The topics change, but always include at least one traditional and non-traditional security issue such as terrorism, cybersecurity, weapons of mass destruction, poverty, climate change, or maritime competition. For each topic, the course addresses key controversies and issues, explores theoretical explanations, and evaluates possible policy solutions.
