Course Description: This course introduces students to a broad overview of Indigenous Australian studies from a wide range of disciplines and perspectives. It places contemporary Indigenous affairs in cultural, archaeological, historical, linguistic, legal, policy and anthropological context and provides a gateway to advanced level courses that make up the Major or Minor in Indigenous Australian Studies. International comparison is limited.
