Course Description: This course is an introduction to finance. The objective is to provide familiarization of financial concepts and tools used in an international setting. The course covers financial ratios, financial decision making tools, the role of stock and bond markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Other topics discussed include basics of standard financial decision making tools, net present value (NPV) and internal rate of return (IRR).
