Course Description: This course traces the development of how the gut microbiome is becoming more and more prevalent with respect to consumed foods and immunity. The course also discusses how current research is paving the way for new vaccine delivery systems and immunobiotic feeds with respect to societal cooperation. Emphasis is placed on both basic and applied science. It is crucial for students to build a solid foundation in basic science in order to apply their knowledge to creating medicine, probiotic feed, etc. Assessment: attendance and reports.
