Course Description: Planning graphics and computer aided design is an important practical course to the urban and rural planning major students. Through the graphics specifications and software applications taught by the teacher and practice, students complete series of standard drawing based on a topic and condition given. Its purpose is teaching through lectures and quizzes, students are expected to understand and master the general principles of urban and rural planning design and computer-aided drafting technology drawing specifications, methods and techniques to achieve quite skilled in hand-painted, CAD graphics, layout and other aspects of degree of accuracy, the full expression of design ideas, independently complete more standardized planning and design drawings. Assessment: Hand drawing (20%), CAD plan (20%), Photoshop renderings (20%), test quiz (40%).
