Course Description: This course provides a study of the greatest speeches throughout history. Speeches include Martin Luther King, Jr.'s 'I Have a Dream,' Mother Teresa's 'Nobel Lecture,' Mahatma Gandhi's 'Quit India,' and other well-known speeches. The course teaches the social, political, and economic backgrounds of each speech as well as the impact of the speeches on the international community.
