Course Description: This course explores graphics hardware; scan conversion of lines and polygons; user interfaces; hierarchical modelling of objects; modelling curves and surfaces with splines and fractials; and graphics standards. 2D transformations include windowing, clipping, and viewports. 3D transformations include perspective transformation, 3D clipping, hidden surface removal, lighting, and texture maps. Students engage in programming assignments in lab.
