Course Description: This course explores the physical, biological, and social environment of Sydney. Topics include the geophysical environment, Indigenous people, natural and biological hazards, and development of Sydney into a global city. Through workshops, students investigate the contemporary environmental issues facing Sydney. A series of optional field visit(s) studying the diversity of Sydney’s biophysical environment are available.
