Course Description: This course focuses on gender and sexuality and how these concepts have evolved as social constructs throughout history in relation to changing social norms and scientific understanding. Students take an interdisciplinary approach, synthesizing biological, psychological, sociological, and historical perspectives on gender and sexuality. The course objectives include not only an understanding of the biology and psychology behind gender and sexuality, but also how they are treated in modern-day society.
