Course Description:	This course begins with an introduction to film analysis and the history of the Weimar Republic and then discusses a representative selection of films released during the Weimar Republic. In addition to film screenings, students read programmatic writings from film-maters and critics such as Robert Wiene and Siegfried Kracauer. The course includes a mandatory trip to the Museum für Film und Fernsehen.
