Course Description:	This course provides students with an understanding of fear and anxiety as personality traits. Some of the topics dealt with are: the development of anxiety under different personality paradigms; possible cultural differences in anxiety and fear; possible gender differences; the expression of fear and anxiety in social behavior and specific situations; possible positive effects of anxiety and fear, and the line between "normal" and pathological fear and anxiety.
