Course Description: This course explores American government and politics, with special focus on micro-level public policy. The course examines the institutions and processes of American national and local government, and how the political factors influence public policy decision-making and executing. From this course, the student should begin to understand both the structures and functions of key concepts in American political life. Moreover, the course provide contemporary key issues of American society and public administration. Students will be expected to understand the U.S. from both a practical and theoretical perspective.
