Course Description: This course explores forensic osteology, the study of human skeletal remains within the legal context. Students learn about human morphology and variation through the investigation and identification of human bones. They also gain skills in observation, rigorous record taking, analysis, and interpretation. Students produce case reports and practice acting as an "expert witness" to improve written and oral skills. They also learn to deal with legal and ethical issues.
