Course Description: This course explains foundations and concepts of physics opposite to the traditional approach which usually goes from metaphysics, heuristics, theoretical formulation and mathematical equations to examples and possible applications. For every field of physics concrete devices like roller skaters, balls, a ramp, balloons, rockets, wood stoves, etc. are considered and the question is asked as to how they work.
