Course Description: The book treads a find line between theory introduction and policy application, explaining properly the concept, logic and theories of international economics, and displaying policy analysis on the variety of phenomenon of international economics. Topics include: world trade and national economics; why countries trade; the composition of goods in the trade; domestic industry protection: tariff; non-tariff barriers to trade; American business policy; international and regional trading origination in developed countries; trade and development; international flow of production factors; the balance of payments; market determined exchange rate; international monetary system; domestic policy of adjusting the balance of international payments; the effect of exchange rate adjustment on current account and domestic economy; the currency method of the international balance of payments; and the other exchange rate system.
