Course Description: This course combines art and psychology. The course examines aesthetics, art theory, psychology and other disciplines, the psychology of art research, the rules of psychological activities during the artistic creation, the laws of art appreciation, and the rules of understanding the psychological activities. The psychology of art is a cross discipline of aesthetics and psychology, which belongs to the aesthetic from the aesthetic characteristics of psychological activities, and from psychological characteristics of art activities. It can be both an application branch of art and psychology. Assessment: attendance (10%), art works analysis (30%), book report (30%), and a final exam (30%).
