Course Description: This course covers the reading and writing component of the entire Advanced level in one summer. The course helps students progress from the intermediate level to the advanced level of Chinese. Course materials focus on solidifying and advancing the students’ grasp of grammar and vocabulary while expanding their vocabulary. Careful examination of subject matter in the text gives students the ability to read essays at a deeper level and to infer meaning. Rigorous practice of written Chinese in complex activities enables students to gain the ability to write Chinese at various levels of formality without grammar mistakes.
