Course Description: The goal of this course is to become able to write undergraduate college-level academic reports and essays. Students acquire advanced written expression and vocabulary, improve their command of Japanese, and develop the ability to think and compose logically. They also learn how to cite sources, rewriting, and editing techniques. Assessment: class attendance and participation (30%), short reports in Japanese (40%), and 2,000 to 4,000 character final report in Japanese (30%).
