Course Description: This course provides intermediate level of game theory. Game theory considers rational decision making in interactive situations. It teaches what is the interactive situations, and what is the rationality under the situations. In particular, the class uses a new approach to analyze experimental data of people’s decisions in economic/interactive environments. This new approach quantitates degree of people’s rationality while the standard game theory and economic theory assume ‘super’ rational decision makers. In the course, various criteria of rationality are introduced to analyze decision data. Furthermore, it covers behavioral models in game theory to explain the experimental data of decision according to the criteria. Assessment: Exam, reports.
