Course Description: After the Second World War, Japan has aimed to be a significant member of the international system that was created and operated under the initiative of the United States. President Roosevelt 's four free speech in 1941 was reflected in the UN Charter of 1945 and also the Constitution of Japan in 1947. Past one decades, there are many phenomena wherein such "western values" are denied, and it will make Japanese policy maker consider of the move they will make to formulate its foreign policy for the future. In this context, this class looks for answers to the problems the global policy makers are working on through exchange of free thoughts and class discussion.
