Course Description: This course examines international political economy from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. Since international political economy is interdisciplinary academic field, the course covers various topics such as multinational production, international trade, international monetary and financial systems, international aid and development, regional cooperation, environmental protection, immigration, as well as globalization and its consequences. Students research and discuss the structure of modern international economy while considering its effects on international politics.
