Course Description: This course advances communication ability in spoken Chinese. There are new sets of vocabulary learned every week, as well as new phrases and grammar structures, and there is a high expectation to already be familiar with characters that are at the intermediate level. Students learn 2000 new words in this level. After the course, students should be able to express themselves in Chinese at a normal speed in a quite clear, accurate, and appropriate manner. Students are able to join some discussions on the general topics and have general business negotiation in Chinese. Text: INTERMEDIATE SPOKEN CHINESE II. (Zhongjikouyu 2) Peking University Press.
