Course Description: This course improves ability to communicate through a content based language environment with both local Japanese students and international students.The focus of the class is on intercultural communication through a content based language learning approach and the theme of the class is Karate and martial arts. Students will analyze media texts such as videos and articles and take part in discussions and write reports on based on their ideas. Assessment: Attendance and participation, assigned in-class task/role, presentations, final product, homework and quizzes.
