Course Description: This course uses a comparative approach to case studies around the globe to learn about the social and political context of community energy projects and new forms of public ownership. The course covers the efforts that are being made to bring energy infrastructure back into public ownership, for example in the Berliner Energietisch referendum. Site visits in Berlin are included in the course.
