Course Description: This course provides a basic overview of translation studies and key points of this research area. Through lectures, discussions and research, the course considers a new viewpoint on the theory which was discussed in translation for a long time and gained authority and became common sense. Translation is regarded as an important cultural practice, understanding secrets of culture flowing from society to another society, and deepening understanding of accepting translations, that is, accepting changes.
