Course Description: This course is taught as an integrated language-content course (CLIL) in English and Korean, meaning that there is equal emphasis on both the content and language acquisition. The course surveys various aspects of contemporary Korean society, especially through media analysis. Clips from Korean TV dramas are used to get started on various topics that are important in understanding contemporary Korean society. Assessment: final exam, midterm exam, presentation, discussion, attendance and participation.
