Course Description:
This course introduces the perspectives, research methods, and findings of cultural psychology. The course cultivates the ability to understand and deal with variations in psychological processes across cultural and ethnic groups, as well as to understand the cultural grounding of personal experiences and actions. At the end of the course, it is expected that students will be able to explain how cultural contexts shape psychological processes through cultural practices. Assessment: Participation in survey/ experimental demonstration, final exam.
